Quinoa and vegetable mixture with cheese. Meat and other fixings addable during cooking. This recipe is entree-sized. Halve, third or quarter for a side dish portion.

Recipe Ingredients for Mel's Quinoa Pilaf BASE

2/3 cup quinoa
1 1/3 cup water
5 3/10 oz frozen spinach (third of 1lb bag)
8 oz frozen mixed vegetables (half 1lb bag)
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Mel's Quinoa Pilaf BASE

  1. Cook quinoa and spinach with water in same pot. --> You would add meats, etc to this pot as well.

  2. Cook mixed vegetables separately.

  3. When both are done, mix together.

  4. Mix in cheese and let sit covered to melt.

  5. Mix well and enjoy!
