Recipe Ingredients for melly's chili

1 lb ground beef, browned
1 large onion, diced
31 oz dark red kidney beans, canned
15 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes, canned
6 oz tomato paste
1 green pepper, diced
2 yellow pepper, diced
10 grams chili powder
2 tbsp brown sugar

Recipe Directions for melly's chili

  1. use one packet Willam's chili seasoning in place of brown sugar and chili powder.

  2. brown meat with onions and peppers drain excess grease.

  3. add seasoning, beans, tomato paste, and tomatoes.

  4. stir and cover, let simmer for 30 minutes. serve with rice, spaghetti (for chicago style) or tortillas.
