I consider 2/3 Cup to be about 1 serving and it = about 70 grams. Swiss/European breakfast or snack food. Home made - saves $$$$ - no additives/preservatives! highly nutritious and good source of energy & fiber - and low fat (unless you kill it with whole milk) - you will feel full a long time after eating this for breakfast so don't worry about the high # of calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Melissa's Mueslix

3 cups oats
2 cups wheat
2 cups rolled barley
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup dried blueberries
1/4 cup dried cherry
1/4 cup dried currants
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup wheat germ

Recipe Directions for Melissa's Mueslix

Mix all together - feel free to use other fruits/nuts in different quantities. great with any milk or just plain. can be heated or eaten cold (which is how I prefer it, just like cold cereal with milk) supposed to have 1/4 cup oat bran also but this recipe thing won't attach the right thing, keeps pulling Oat Bran Bread ??
