Less fat and sugar than traditional banana bread

Recipe Ingredients for Melissa's Banana Bread

1/4 cup smart balance spread
1/2 cup sugar
4 bananas
1 egg
2 egg whites
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pinch of salt
1 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Melissa's Banana Bread

Cream spread and sugar, then bananas, egg and egg whites. Sift dry ingredients together, then incorporate into batter. Fold in the nuts. Spoon into bread pan. Bake 300 degrees, for an hour and a half. Cool 10 min in pan, rest on cooling rack.
