3.68 pounds ground beef
59 ounces kidney beans
56 ounces diced tomato

Recipe Directions for Melanie's Chili

  1. Brown ground beef and drain off all fat. Open canned diced tomatoes and pour contents into the pot with the ground beef. Repeat this process with the kidney beans. Add salt, ground black pepper. Add chili powder and cayenne pepper to taste. Simmer on low for at least 1 hour.

  2. Serve in 1/2 cups portions. Makes 28 servings.
