Lasagna made with meat sauce, spinach and ricotta cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Meggan's Lasagna with meat sauce spinach and ricotta

11/20 serving Lasagne Wavy Dry
16 oz Laura's 96% Lean Ground Sirloin
1 small Onions
2 clove Garlic
24 oz Organic Traditional Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup pieces Mushrooms
1 1/2 cup Light Ricotta Cheese
1 large Egg, Whole
1/2 cup Spinach
1 tbsp Olive Oil
6 cup Cheese

Recipe Directions for Meggan's Lasagna with meat sauce spinach and ricotta

Brown beef with olive oil and chopped onion. Add minced garlic when almost browned. Season with salt, pepper, oregano. Add mushrooms and pasta sauce when browned. Can also add a splash of red wine and simmer. Add salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder or other italian seasoning to taste. Boil 11 noodles until al dente. Mix about 1/2- 3/4 tub of ricotta with 1 egg and 1 box of frozen spinach (defrosted and well drained). In a lasagna pan, place a small amount of sauce on bottom and begin layering noodles. 3 noodles on bottom, then ricotta mixture, sauce, and mozzarella. Continue with 2 more layers of 4 noodles each, finishing with cheese. Bake @ 350 or 375 until bubbly and golden. May want to cover with foil at first to prevent overbrowning. Easily 12 pieces.
