Recipe Ingredients for Mediterranean Tuna Salad

1 can Tuna, Light, Canned In Water, Drained Solids
2 tbsp Black Olives
30 grams Carrots
2 tbsp Celery
30 grams Feta Cheese
0.25 serving VIGO EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
0.5 tbsp Vinegar Balsamic
1 pita, large (6-1/2" dia) Bread, Pita, Whole-wheat
1 cups Romaine Lettuce
50 grams Tomatoes
50 grams Tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Mediterranean Tuna Salad

  1. Combine 1 can of tuna, 4 chopped black olives, 2 tbsp chopped carrots, 2 tbsp chopped celery, 2 tbsp crumbled feta, 1/2 tsp olive oil, and 1tsp balsamic vinegar and season with pepper to taste.

  2. Cut pita down the center so there are two halves.

  3. Split each half open and place one lettuce leaf and one slice of tomato in the bottom of the pita pocket.

  4. Place half the tuna mixture inside each pita pocket.
