No whole wheat pizza crust in the database, so I just put in the values for white bread prepared pizza crust.

Recipe Ingredients for Mediterranean Pizza

1 oz. dried porcini mushrooms
8 oz. marinated artichokes
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp dried basil
800 g prepared whole wheat pizza crust , 12" pie crust
4 oz skim milk mozzarella cheese , shredded -- a half a cup
1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

Recipe Directions for Mediterranean Pizza

  1. Reconstitute mushrooms and preheat oven to 375.

  2. Drain artichokes, reserving liquid. In a skillet, heat liquid over medium heat and then add garlic and onions. Saute until the onion is translucent.

  3. Add mushrooms, basil, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.

  4. On prepared crust, sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese. Spread mushroom mixture over the cheese. Top with artichokes, roasted red peppers and remaining cheese.

  5. Bake directly on oven rack for 20 minutes.
