Recipe Ingredients for Mediterranea lamb with tofu

16 ounce lamb
2 ounce tofu, extra firm
1/2 cup water
1 large onion, sliced
1 small tomato, sliced
2 tsp thyme
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup coconut milk
1 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Mediterranea lamb with tofu

  1. Cut lamb into kabob-like slices

  2. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, then brown meat in the olive oil.

  3. Pour off the olive oil, then add water, tomato, onion, thyme, and curry powder.

  4. Simmer for 20 minutes, then add coconut milk.

  5. Season further to taste, then add extra firm tofu.

  6. Simmer 15 minutes, then serve with warm pita bread.
