my mom-in-laws recipe. if you use saltine crackers, dont add extra salt

Recipe Ingredients for meatloaf

2 lb lean ground beef
2 eggs
1 onion
3 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1 cup bread crumbs or cracker
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for meatloaf

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. mix beef with eggs, chopped onions, salt pepper and bread crumbs

  3. form egg shape and place into squared baking dish.

  4. fill dish with water (NOT over meat)

  5. top meat with ketchup

  6. bake 1 hour or till done
