Makes 16 servings



A very moist, flavorful meatloaf. No gravy needed.

Recipe Ingredients for Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef
1 pound ground pork
8 oz mushrooms, ground
1 pound carrots, ground
1 red bell pepper, ground
1 cup onion, ground
1 egg
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
2 T mustard powder
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t salt
1 1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 T mustard powder

Recipe Directions for Meatloaf

  1. Mix first 12 ingredients together in large bowl.

  2. Transfer to a 13 x 9 pan and squish to fit.

  3. Mix final 3 ingredients together and spread over the top of the meatloaf.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 to 50 minutes.

  5. Meatloaf will shrink away from the sides of the pan.

  6. I usually pour off the juices from the pan before serving.
