Better Homes & Gardens traditional Meatloaf

Recipe Ingredients for Meatloaf

2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk, fat free
2/3 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil
1 lb ground beef (9% fat)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard

Recipe Directions for Meatloaf

  1. Combine eggs and milk; stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, and sage.

  2. Add meat and mix well. Pat into loaf pan.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1.25 hours (until temperature reaches 160 F). Spoon off fat.

  4. Combine ketchup, mustard, and sugar. Spread over meat.

  5. Bake additional 10 minutes.
