From back of Lipton's Onion Soup mix box with a couple of tweaks to it - add mushrooms, onions, and garlic. Also try barbecus sauce in place of ketchup for a smoky twist.

Recipe Ingredients for Meatloaf

2 pounds 90% lean ground beef
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 ounce lipton onion soup mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup water
8 ounces mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Sautee mushrooms, onions, and garlic until moisture is gone. Add to meatloaf mixture and mix well.

  3. Pat into a loaf pan, spread additional ketchup on top and bake for about an hour or until a thermometer reads 160 degrees.
