Use lean ground beef and pork. Beef - 90% lean

Recipe Ingredients for Meatloaf

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 cup tomato juice
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for Meatloaf

  1. Mix all ingredients including the beaten eggs. If eggs are really large, use just one.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Let set about 5 minutes or so before cutting.
