A simple Meatloaf with cheese on top

Recipe Ingredients for Meatloaf

1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup green pepper
2 garlic cloves
2 tsp olive oil
1 1/2 lb extra lean ground beef
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 medium egg
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 oz provolone cheese

Recipe Directions for Meatloaf

  1. saute onion/green pepper/garlic in olive iol

  2. combine beef/oatmeal/tomato sauce/egg/pepper

  3. add saute mixture

  4. shape in a 8x5 loaf on a broiler pan

  5. cook at 350f for 50-55 minutes

  6. arrange cheese on top

  7. cook for 5 additional minutes
