Recipe Ingredients for Meatless meatballs

77 g textured vegetable protein
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 cup onion
4 tsp garlic
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup vegetable broth
20 g steak sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
95 g gluten
1/4 cup Chickpea Flour (Besan)
1 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Recipe Directions for Meatless meatballs

  1. Reconstitute TVP in broth/soy mixture. (Marmite and a bit of gravy browning were the original additions to vegan beef broth). Add minced onion and garlic. Chill.

  2. combine wet team: Ketchup through pepper, and chill.

  3. combine dry ingreadients.

  4. Prepare steamer, lined with parchment.

  5. Mix wet into tvp. Mix into dry. form into 40 tiny meatballs (i made 20 using scoop, then halved and re-rolled After the steaming process which follows).

  6. Steam 10 minutes on one side. 10 minutes on the other.

  7. Bake on parchment in a 350 oven for 10-20 minutes or until a bit crisp on the outside.
