Basically following the recipe on the barilla pasta, subbing the meat for morningstar crumbles Recipe is one box of no boil lasagne noodles 2 jars of newman's own 2 zucchini 2 eggs 1 packge preshreded mozzarella cheese, 1 package italian style cheese, 15 oz. ricotta cheese and the morningstar meal starters.

Recipe Ingredients for Meatless Lasagna alla morningstar

2 zucchini
15 oz
2 eggs
3 cups mozzarella cheese
1 cup Parmesan cheese
12 oz

Recipe Directions for Meatless Lasagna alla morningstar

  1. Brown meat, then add zucchini. Cover to steam, season to taste.

  2. Beat the eggs and add all the ricotta cheese. Then add 2 cups mozzarella cheese to mixture.

  3. Setup Assembly line (sauce -> noodle -> Ricotta -> meat -> cheese repeat)

  4. Add 1 cup sauce to bottom of pan, (or just cover the bottom of the pan enough to place in noodles. (about 4)

  5. Spread ricotta over noodles and add about 1/2 the meat mixture over the cheese. Sprinkle about a cup of mozerella.

  6. Add sauce, another layer of noodles, ricotta cheese.

  7. Add sauce, noodle, remaining ricotta cheese, the remaining meat.

  8. Finally another layer of noodles, add remaining sauce and cover with remaining mozzarella cheese and parm.

  9. Bake in preheated oven at 375 Degrees F. for just under an hour covered. Remove cover and crisp the cheese for about 15 minutes.

  10. Cool a bit and serve
