The best ones yet, and low cal! Use in your favorite spaghetti or other meatball recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Meatballs

1 1/2 slices whole wheat bread
1/2 c fresh parsley
2 egg whites
1/4 cup skim milk
1/2 T onion powder
1/2 t dried oregano
1/2 t garlic powder
1/8 t cayenne pepper
1/2 lb extra lean ground beef

Recipe Directions for Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Coat aking sheet with nonstick spray.

  2. Put bread hunks and parsley in food processor to make crumbs. Put in bowl and mix in egg whites and milk with a fork. Add spices and beef, mix until combined.

  3. Measure tablespoons and shape into balls. Place on baking sheet. Bake 7-10 minutes, until no longer pink inside.

  4. Makes about 18 meatballs, or 4 servings.
