Recipe Ingredients for Meatballs in Marinara Sauce

1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons wheat germ
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 pound italian sausage
4 cloves garlic, minced
30 ounces tomato paste
60 ounces of water
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Meatballs in Marinara Sauce

  1. Mix bread crumbs, egg, water and wheat germ in medium size mixing bowl. Then, add salt, pepper, ground beef, pork, and sausage. Mix thoroughly. Shape into small balls and brown in a large skillet.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients in a kettle until smooth. Add browned meatballs and cook for 3 to 4 hours on medium heat.
