16 Beef Franks
32 oz tomato sauce
32 oz water
1 cup brown sugar
4 tbs. vinegar
2 tsp Seasoning Blend
1 fruit+2-3/8"+dia Lemons

Recipe Directions for Meatball Delight

  1. Cut 1 cup finely chopped onions. In a large bowl, put beef, eggs (beaten first) salt, onion, milk and breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly with hands. Chill for at least 30 min. Make into balls. Warm oil in large saute pan, adding meatballs and turning until brown and cooked through (the smaller the meatball the faster they cook).

  2. While meatballs are chilling, in large pot on stove, put tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, and vinegar, Stir and bring to a boil. Then simmer for at least an hour. about 30 minutes into the hour, add thin slices of lemon and thin sliced sauteed onion. Add meatballs and hot dogs (they will cook in sauce) and let cook in simmering sauce at least half an hour to ensure hot dogs are cooked. This works well in a crock pot. Easy yet very impressive.
