Recipe Ingredients for meat loaf

3 slices white bread
1 lb lean ground beef
1 1/4 lb ground turkey
3 cloves garlic
6 oz carrots
1 medium onion, diced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup ketchup
3 tsp ground mustard
1 large egg
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp kosher salt
2 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for meat loaf

  1. dice bread, pulse in food processor add meat

  2. pulse garlic, carrots, onion, celery add to meat mix well

  3. add egg, salt, pepper , 1/2c ketchup, 2 tsp ground mustard mix well

  4. add meat to pan, mix rest of ketchup, mustard and brown sugar in small bowl until smooth. Spread on top of meat. Bake at 375 for 90 minutes
