Easy recipe for a traditional favorite.

Recipe Ingredients for Meat Loaf

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 egg whites
12 oz tomato juice
2 c saltine crackers
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 c minced onion
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp minced garlic

Recipe Directions for Meat Loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Crush saltines and mix all ingredients except 4 oz. tomato sauce together.

  3. Put in a loaf pan and pierce the top of mixture. Pour remaining V-8 over top.

  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.

  5. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes.
