Recipe Ingredients for Meal-in-One Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper
15 1/4 ounces corn, drained
4 ounces mushrooms
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
11 ounces salsa
28 ounces tomatoes, diced, drained
1 cup water
4 ounces chedder cheese, shredded or cheddar, jack, american blend
5 cups cooked noodles

Recipe Directions for Meal-in-One Casserole

  1. In skillet cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink.

  2. Transfer to 5 qt slow cooker. Top with bell pepper, corn and mushrooms, top with noodles. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour salsa over mushrooms, top with noodles. Pour tomatoes and water over all. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through.
