Recipe Ingredients for me ma's bbq pork

4 1/2 pounds pork
8 oz tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
7 oz green chilis
18 oz barbeque sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp yellow mustard seed
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp jalapeno pepper
1 tbsp turmeric

Recipe Directions for me ma's bbq pork

  1. cook meat with one cup of water in slow cooker on high for 6 hours

  2. combine all ingredients in sauce pan except prepared BBQ sauce

  3. heat through and simmer for 30 minutes

  4. add prepared BBQ sauce and heat through

  5. Shred pork

  6. add sauce

  7. cook on low for 3 hours
