A different take on the delicious salmon burgers submitted by "morisht". I took out some things and added an egg in order to make them stick together better.

Recipe Ingredients for Mazz's Slammin' Salmon Cakes

1 can salmon
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. reduced-fat mayonnaise
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Mazz's Slammin' Salmon Cakes

  1. In a medium sized bowl, remove liquid and all bones from salmon.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the salmon and mix well.

  3. Divide mixture into 4 equal sizes and make into patties.

  4. Place in heated skillet and cook 3-5 minutes (or until brown and slightly crisp) on both sides.

  5. Serving Suggestion: I like to put the patty on a big bed of "fresh" herb salad (I buy it premixed from the health food store), which I mix a homemade balsamic vinaigrette into. MMMM!! :)
