Recipe Ingredients for Maureen's Turkey Chili

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 red pepper, diced
1 yellow pepper, diced
2 small zucchini, diced
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons oregano
28 ounce tomatoes
14 ounce black beans
14 ounce kidney beans

Recipe Directions for Maureen's Turkey Chili

  1. Heat olive oil. add onions, garlic, veggies salt and spices. Add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.

  2. Puree tomatoes in blender and add to pot. Drain beans and add to pot. Bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer. Taste and adjust. Simmer 45 minutes to 2 hours.
