Recipe Ingredients for Matzo Ball Soup

5 quarts low sodium chicken broth
5 ounces crackers, matzo
4 large eggs
1/2 cup canola oil

Recipe Directions for Matzo Ball Soup

  1. Mix eggs and oil in bowl.

  2. Stir in 5 ounces of matzo meal (two packages) and refridgerate for 20 minutes.

  3. Heat broth to boiling.

  4. Drop ball shapes of dough (makes 24 balls) into boiling water and boil for 20 minutes.
