Recipe Ingredients for Mattar Paneer

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
3 g Mustard Seeds
5 g Cumin Seeds
0.5 large Onions
2 medium Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1 grams Chilly Powder Kashmiri
10 g Coriander Powder
1 serving MTR multipurpose curry powder
1.5 cup Peas, Green
6 serving verka fresh paneer
0.33 cup Coriander Leaves

Recipe Directions for Mattar Paneer

  1. Heat 1tsp oil in a kadai(wok), and stir fry the cubed paneer (half of the slab), until its golden brown. Remove and can store over tissue, so that excess oil is soaked. Keep aside.

  2. Take half cubed onion and 2 tomatoes, diced, and blend them with ginger piece and 1 chilli in a blender.

  3. Heat 2tsp oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, let it splatter. Then add the onion and tomato puree and saute, until the raw smell is gone and its turning golden brown.

  4. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, curry powder, salt and continue sauteing for a few minutes.

  5. Then add the peas and saute for a few more minutes and add the paneer and saute. Add water to desided consistency, if you need it watery. close and simmer and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
