Just basic mashed potatoes with a little bit of milk

Recipe Ingredients for Mashed potatoes

690 grams potatoes, gold
1/2 cup milk, 1%
1 dash salt

Recipe Directions for Mashed potatoes

Fill a medium pan about half full of water, and bring to a boil. Leave the small potatoes whole, cut larger ones in half. Add a pinch of salt to the water, and add the potatoes to the water at any time. You do not have to wait for it to boil to add them. Boil the potatoes until a fork can easily pierce them, but they're not falling apart. Pour out water, preferably saving it for future uses. Mash the potatoes and serve.
