Recipe Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes

879 g medium potatoes
2 tbsp butter
6 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Mashed Potatoes

  1. In a sauce pan boil potatoes and 1/2 teaspoon salt, covered, in enough boiling water to cover for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender

  2. Drain

  3. Beat with electric mixer on low speed

  4. Add butter

  5. Season to taste with salt and black pepper

  6. Gradually beat in milk to make mixture light and fluffy
