Recipe Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes - cheese, onion, bacon

48 oz Potatoes, Boiled
8 oz Cream Cheese
0.5 cup Cream, Sour, Cultured
0.5 cup Butter
0.25 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1.5 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 tsp Pepper, Black
6 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
1 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for Mashed Potatoes - cheese, onion, bacon

  1. Place potatoes in a Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain; mash potatoes with cream cheese, sour cream and butter. Stir in milk and seasonings.

  2. In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels with a slotted spoon; drain.

  3. Transfer potato mixture to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; sprinkle with cheese, onions and bacon. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

  4. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until heated through.
