Mashed potatoes with buttermilk & garlic

Recipe Ingredients for Mashed potatoes with buttermilk & garlic

2 cups potatoes, pared and cubed
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Mashed potatoes with buttermilk & garlic

Boil potatoes in enough water to cover until potatoes are tender. Drain well. Press garlic over cooked potatoes. Mash potatoes with potato masher or electric mixture, adding buttermilk slowly, until potatoes are smooth and creamy. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, stir until mixed.
