Mash potatoes and other root vegetable mixture as side dish, low in sodium and fat.

Recipe Ingredients for Mash Potatoes Mixture

300 g new potatoes
200 g sweet potatoes
150 g rutabagas
150 g carrots
100 g cream
1 pinch salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Mash Potatoes Mixture

  1. Wash all the vegetables. Keep skin of fresh potatoes. Peel the skin of sweet potatoes and rutabagas. Dice all of them in cubic inches.

  2. Pure water in a deep pan, add a pinch of salt and bring to boil. Add diced vegetable mixture and cook them till they get soft to be mashed. Pure the water and put them all in a large bowl. Add salt and spices and cream. Mash properly.

  3. It can be decorated with chopped parsley. (and parmesan cheese)
