8 medium potatos
2 cloves garlic
1 egg
1 onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces skimmed milk
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

  1. peel and quarter potatos and steam

  2. slice and caramelize onion

  3. Combine 1 cup milk, onions and sliced garlic

  4. bring to high heat and mix with potato

  5. add egg and mash
