1 cup white flour
2 cups spelt flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup dried apricots
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup cranberries
2 cups plain yogurt
2 tsp cinnamon
4 tablespoons baking powder
2 tablespoons baking soda

Recipe Directions for mary's version of val's tea buns

  1. mix yogurt and butter softened and applesauce

  2. i used organic butter and organic applesauce

  3. then mixed with dry ingredients already mixed together in another bowl

  4. baked 400 on stoneware pan for 15-17 mins
