Chicken Noodle soup, good with toasted cheese sandwiches, french bread, or crackers

Recipe Ingredients for Mary's Chicken Soup

1 T. olive oil
8 c. chicken broth
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 c carrots, chopped
1 c. celery chopped
3 c. chicken, shredded
12 oz. Egg Noodles (frozen)

Recipe Directions for Mary's Chicken Soup

  1. saute the onion, carrots, and celery in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

  2. When soft, add chicken broth and shredded chicken

  3. Bring to rapid boil and add frozen egg noodles, return to boil for 20 minutes until noodles are cooked.

  4. serve hot with sandwiches or bread
