My own combination of ingredients...

Recipe Ingredients for Mary's Bison/Italian Pork Sausage Meatloaf

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup basil pesto
1/4 cup 1% milk
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Mary's Bison/Italian Pork Sausage Meatloaf

  1. Mix all except ketchup, mustard and brown sugar

  2. Pat into a loaf pan, sprayed first with PAM

  3. Roast at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

  4. Increase temperature of oven to 400 degrees.

  5. Mix ketchup, mustard and brown sugar.

  6. Remove meatloaf and top with ketchup sauce.

  7. Roast for another 10 - 15 minutes.

  8. Serve with extra sauce on the side.
