Southern favorite cooked in microwave for quick meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Mary's 25 minute Meatloaf

3 pounds lean ground beef
28 oz spaghetti sauce, traditional
2 cups crackers, unsalted and crushed
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Recipe Directions for Mary's 25 minute Meatloaf

  1. Mix all items together well.

  2. Spray microwave-safe casserole dish big enough to fit meatloaf mixture in.

  3. Cover and microwave on high 20 minutes

  4. Ketchup can be added to top and sides thinly

  5. Return to microwave for approximately 5 minutes.

  6. Keep covered while cooking.

  7. Round dish works well, if no turntable in microwave, turn 1/4 for 4 turns during the 20 minute cooking time. Meat will look gray.
