Recipe Ingredients for Martha's Black Beans and Rice

45 ounce black beans
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatos
1 1/2 cups rice
4 ounces salsa
1/2 cup cilantro
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves of garlic, diced
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp dried chipotle pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp salt
6 cups water

Recipe Directions for Martha's Black Beans and Rice

Saute onions and garlic in oil, add spices. Rince and add beans, then diced tomatos, including the sauce. Simmer, should be pretty spicy at this point, adjust seasoning. Add water, rice and cilanro. simmer until rice is done, add more water if necessary.
