2 tbs butter, melted
1 tsp butter for pan
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tbs flax seed
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 large egg
1 egg white, large
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 medium bananas

Recipe Directions for martha stewart banana bread

  1. preheat 350

  2. whisk eggs together with paddle attachment of electric mixer. Add butter, sugar, vanilla, bananas. Add dry ingredients. mix for 10 seconds. put into loaf pan. Bake 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. cool on rack slightly. invert to unmold. reinvert. allow to cool completely. 8 servings.
