Recipe Ingredients for Marshmallows Lollydoodalottoday

3 envelope Gelatine
8 oz Agave Nectar
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Marshmallows Lollydoodalottoday

  1. Pour 1/2 C cold water into small to medium-size saucepan.

  2. Stir in agave syrup and salt.

  3. Heat using candy thermometer to soft ball stage, about 7 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  5. In mixer, pour 1/2 C. cold water and sprinkle 3 plain knox gelatin packets over the water and allow to soften 2-4 minutes.

  6. Turn mixer on low and slowly pour warm agave mixutre over softened gelatin.

  7. Turn mixer up to high and allow to mix for 10-12 minutes. Mixture will become stiff and shiny.

  8. Pam a 9 X 13 pan.

  9. When mixing time is finished, pour marshmallow mixture into pan using a spatula and smooth top of mixture.

  10. Cover with plastic wrap, but don't allow wrap to touch candy or it will stick.

  11. Place in fridge and allow to set-up for 30 minutes.

  12. Cut into 24 pieces and store in an airtight container in fridge.

  13. Tip: I don't think it's necessary but mallows can be rolled in powder sugar to reduce stickiness. (But it adds calories and carbs.)
