Low fat lean ground turkey keeps the calories low. Oatmeal adds fiber and few carbs. Use these turkey balls as a substitute in any recipe calling for beef or pork meatballs. ONE meatball is the serving size of 39 grams (46 calories). Sure you can have more, but keep track of the calories. :-)

Recipe Ingredients for Marsha's Turkey Meatballs

20 oz ground white turkey
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup egg whites
1 tbs worcestershire sauce
2 tbs ketchup
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Marsha's Turkey Meatballs

  1. Mix all ingredients.

  2. Form 20 balls.

  3. Place in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, turning once.
