My first attempt at sausage and potato soup..

Recipe Ingredients for Mark's Sausage & Potato Soup v1.0

6 c chicken stock
1.91 pounds italian sausage, uncooked
3.34 pounds red potatoes
11 oz kale
1 T garlic, minced
2 T pepper
3 T thyme
2 yellow onions
1 c dry milk, dry
8 c water

Recipe Directions for Mark's Sausage & Potato Soup v1.0

  1. Cook the meat, throw everything but the kale into a pot, bring to boil for 20 mintures then reduce to simmer. Add the kale, julienned 5 mins before serving.

  2. I said 8 cups of water in the recipe to get the ounces to match up but I actually started with 24 cups. 18 servings at 12.5 oz/service is what I ended up with.
