Crunchy snaps with plenty of snap!

Recipe Ingredients for Mark and Lee's Ginger Snaps

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups Crisco
2 eggs
1/2 cup Molasses
4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ginger
4 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Mark and Lee's Ginger Snaps

  1. Directions

  2. Mix well, chill overnight in refrigerator

  3. Roll into the size of a small marble

  4. Roll in white granulate sugar to coat

  5. Put on an un-greased cookie sheet

  6. Bake 15-18 minutes 350-375 depending on your oven. In some ovens you may need to reduce heat to 325.

  7. Recommendation: bake one cookie as a test for each of the temps in your oven to determine best result.
