Recipe Ingredients for Marisha's Vegetable Soup

1 cup (1" cubes) Pumpkin
2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
3 leaf Cabbage, Chinese (Pak-choi)
0.25 cup elbow shaped Macaroni
2 oz Split Peas
3 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black
4 pods (3" long) Okra

Recipe Directions for Marisha's Vegetable Soup

Put 8 cups of water in a stock/soup pot with split peas, garlic, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, leave to cook for 30 mins. Add cubed raw potatoes. 5 mins later add cubed pumpkin and whole okras. 5 mins later add macaroni and cover. follow cooking directions for elbow macaroni(usu. 7 mins) and turn off stove. Add chopped pak-choi and cover pot so the steam wilts the leaves. taste for seasonings and make adjustments according to individual taste preferences.
