Tasty pie! Marionberries are a kind of blackberry. Slightly sweeter.

Recipe Ingredients for Marionberry Pie

1 pie crust, frozen
16 oz blackberries, frozen
2 T cornstarch
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 egg
1/4 t kosher salt

Recipe Directions for Marionberry Pie

  1. Leave the crust in the freezer. It should be a 9", deep-dish crust.

  2. In a large bowl, combine everything but the berries and crust.

  3. Once it's all nice and mixed, mix in the berries. If it looks too dry, add a little water, but not too much.

  4. Put it in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to set a little.

  5. Take out your crust and berry mixture, and put the latter into the former.

  6. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes.

  7. Cover the edges with foil, lower heat to 350, and bake another 40-50 minutes or so.

  8. Remove from oven, let sit until set.

  9. Eat!
