Seared in a non stick pan there is no need for additional oils.

Recipe Ingredients for marinated tuna steak

5 oz. tuna steak
2 tblsp ginger
2 tblsp garlic
1/2 cup onion
2 tblsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1 serving (Corbett Canyon) Pino Grigio
2 tblsp lemon juice
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp whole mustard seed
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for marinated tuna steak

  1. fine chop onion

  2. mince garlic

  3. whisk together all ingredients except tuna in a bowl large enough to marinade steaks in.

  4. put steaks into bowl and make sure to completely coat in marinade.

  5. put in refrigerator for about two hours (at least)

  6. sear in a non stick pan to a rare or mid-rare.
