Recipe Ingredients for Marinated Kale & Cabbage Salad [VEG NEWS]

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon thyme
2 cup kale
2 cup cabbage, cored and thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for Marinated Kale & Cabbage Salad [VEG NEWS]

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and thyme.

  2. [note oil modified from 1/4 cup in original recipt to 1/8 cup to decrease fat %]

  3. In a large bowl, place kale and cabbage. Add dressing and toss gently.

  4. Let salad marinate for 10 minutes before serving.

  5. Makes 4 servings as side/ 2 as main dish (calories based on side dish).
