Homemade Marinade for Grilled Chicken

Recipe Ingredients for Marinated Grilled Chicken

4 oz (raw) Chicken
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Vinegar red wine
0.5 tablespoon Oregano
0.25 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
0.25 tsp Garlic Powder
0.25 tsp Onion Powder
0.5 clove Garlic
1 dash Pepper, Black
1 dash Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for Marinated Grilled Chicken

  1. Prepare chicken breast by cleaning excess fat and cartilage. Slice diagonal slices across top about an inch apart and 1/2 inch deep. Place all ingredients in a large zip lock bag. Marinate for 8 hours or overnight.

  2. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grates. Remove chicken from the bag and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. Place chicken on grill and cook for 10 minutes in indirect heat with the top closed; NO PEEKING

  4. Turn chicken over and cook another 10 minutes, again with the top closed. NO PEEKING

  5. Transfer chicken to a cutting board. Tent with foil; let rest 10 minutes. NO PEEKING
