Healthy red sauce for pasta or meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Marinara

30 oz tomato sauce
1 c chopped celery
1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped green pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp basil

Recipe Directions for Marinara

  1. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in olive oil. Mix in sugar, garlic powder, parsley, basil and oregano and add tomato sauce. Simmer at least 1 hour on low.

  2. Serving is aprox 1/2 cup.
